Laura's Picks: Faith's Swirl High Court Shoes

I'm always on the look out for an eye-catching pair of pumps (court shoes in British-speak) that will be fun to wear to work and on the weekend. For me, "eye-catching" means that the shoes come in a vivid color, funky pattern or -- more often then not -- have a vintage or art historical feel. Enter Faith's swirling high court shoes. The latest heels on my lust list scream "Baroque!" to me with their elaborate, thick leather swirls. (Check out the scrolling ceiling here for comparison.) They also evoke the luxurious swirl-patterned styles of Nicholas Kirkwood and Oscar de la Renta, but at a fraction of their cost -- about $60.00 at Debenhams.

The shoes are divine ! I love them, just wish the heel weren't quite so high.

No, but because it would not suit me and is too formal for my life style. But the style is elegant and classy.
