Tried & Tested: Suno x UNIQLO's Skinny Fit Pants

In case you missed it, Suno's limited edition UNIQLO line debuted on May 20th. I'm a big fan of Suno's printed pieces, so I immediately scooped up these skinny cotton pants from the collaboration (total steals at $29.90, about a tenth of Suno's normal price tag.) The verdict? They rock. Thanks to a touch of spandex, they fit me like a glove, and their light emerald green-and-black print is totally on trend. Plus, they pair well with everything from d'orsay flats and a crisp button down blouse to t-strap sandals and t-shirts. A good buy, indeed.

I'm really excited about the printed jeans/slacks trend: so fun!!

While the jury is still out, there is some evidence to suggest that Uniqlo does pay attention to their clothing suppliers and takes steps to prevent sweat shop conditions and child labor, and we do know that they have many other positive programs in place (such as accepting back all their own worn garments for donation or recycling in Japan, and partnering with a micro lending company in Bangladesh to create jobs for impoverished people there), so if you need your floral print slacks on a budget, Uniqlo is a great choice! I'll be stopping by there sometime soon...
