I started January on a shoe hunt inspired by my other half... my co-blogger, Laura. She was tired of seeing me step out in the same black peep toe pumps whenever I was wore my favorite LBD, and encouraged me to find a new pair for nights out on the town. I accepted the challenge; quite frankly, my old shoes were a big yawn. I decided to invest in a shoe with a classic shape (that would be in style for seasons to come) and festive embellishments (that would make them fun to wear).
I was delighted to find Kate Spade's Krysta at my local Bloomingdale's ($328.00). The shoe's glitter-covered upper and dramatic bow detail made me swoon. When the salesman told me the name of the shoes, I knew it was destiny. Dramatic, I know, but can you blame me? They are so adorable!
Like this look but not their price? Snag this style for less with Ted Baker's similarly stunning Morni peep toe pumps for $165.00.
