Tried & Tested: Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection

While on the hunt at Target for an ugly holiday sweater for an upcoming party, I stumbled upon the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection. I immediately searched through racks and shelves to see if the new partnership was worth all the buzz. The collection strives to make your holiday shopping that much easier by offering a wide variety of presents for seemingly everyone on your shopping list, including...

Altuzarra old fashioned glasses, serving trays and shakers ($49.99 - $79.99), Derek Lam skateboards ($99.99), and Tracy Reese dessert plates ($39.99);

rag & bone boy's and men's sweaters ($49.99 - $69.99);

and even an Alice + Olivia bike ($499.99).

I personally loved Jason Wu's delicate glass ornament set ($49.99);

My husband purchased the Lela Rose dress as an early Christmas present (lucky me!). I love the overall shape of the dress; the natural waist line is very flattering as is the skirt is full (thanks to a layer of tulle). I plan on swapping out the leather belt for something a little more feminine and pairing the dress with black tights and pumps.

For the record, Laura was a big fan of the Marc Jacobs zip pouches, which are steals at $69.99 each.

But what did I think of the collection overall? Frankly, the prices are a little high for the quality of the products -- in most cases good, but not great -- but reasonable compared to the prices tags found at Neiman Marcus.

I haven't and I'm sure everything will be gone by the time I get around to it -- but those Band of Outsiders cookie cutters are SO CUTE.

Excellent review! You are one lucky gal, that Lela Rose dress is lovely. The prices do look steep though.. especially for Target..
