F4T: Designers Lose Themselves in Fashion

Continuing our "Urban Camouflage" post from a few days ago, Chinese artist Liu Bolin -- who he specializes in blending himself into the background of different settings and situations -- blended fashion designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Alber Elbaz (above), and Angela Missoni into their designs for Harper's Bazaar's March 2012 issue. (Jean Paul Gaultier is an especially appropriate subject for Bolin, given the designer's recent brick-covered suit collection.) Learn more about the spread here and let us know what you think of Bolin's work!

Liu Bolin's work is quite compelling. It's interesting that instead of camouflaging himself, he's camouflaging these designers within their own work.
