Adventures: How J&L Spent New Year's Eve

I apologize that our New Year's Eve re-cap is almost two weeks late, but Lynnie and I have been busy preparing "The Style Report" and a special wedding spread for BELLA magazine's March/April issue. (Find out where you can get your copy of the issue here.)

That said, Lynnie and her fiancée, Michael, hosted a New Year Eve's party in their home. Dress code: black tie optional. Mike opted for a red tie with his tuxedo, while Lynnie wore a shimmery French Connection party dress with black tights and heels.

They were the winners of a "Best Kiss" contest, too. The prize? Jeweled lip tattoos. (Awesome.)

Kevin and I couldn't make their party, but did grab dinner at Water Works in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. Kevin wore our favorite Thomas Pink shirt -- he proposed to me in this shirt! -- and DKNY tuxedo. I wore a Zara top and sequined skirt and a J.Crew necklace.

The next day, we began the new year with a yummy brunch of homemade apricot-stuffed French toast with seasoned tomatoes and mimosas. Find this recipe on The Rescue Baker.

S.S.W. Asks: Sorry we didn't ask sooner, but how did you spend New Year's Eve?

P.S. After spending hours searching Google images to create our unofficial Jason Wu lookbook yesterday, The Cut posted an official lookbook with pricing today. (Go figure.) Get it here.

What a fabulous (and stylish) pair of twosomes ringing in the New Year! John and I had a late dinner at Grace, he in his favorite gray 3-piece suit and me in a black Milly dress!

Looks lovely girls! I'm glad you both had a great time ringing in the new year!
We stayed home and had a traditional french dinner of Raclette to make my husband feel at home and celebrated with my Mom and Dad and Brother and his wife. It was perfect!
