Hot or Not? Bebe Workwear

All images courtesy of Racked.com

Bebe -- makers of super sexy women's apparel and accessories -- launched a workwear line last week, priced from $19.00 to $199.00. While we love some of the collection's outfits, such as their so-in-for-fall tuxedo pantsuit (above), we're puzzled by some of their other ensembles (below and here).

To us, these outfits seem better suited for a night out than an office meeting. But what do you think? S.S.W. Asks: Will you wear Bebe's business apparel? Comment below or on our Facebook or Twitter pages.

Um. Yeah. A fuchsia strapless dress over lace accessoried with fingerless gloves? No, probably wouldn't fly in my office. And my office is one where most things fly.

I LOVE that dress! But I don't think I'd wear it to a staff meeting.

I totally agree. I'm so confused by Bebe, it's like they don't hire stylists. I used to shop there 5 years ago and the charge too much for the quality of their clothes. I actually really like that top pic but there is no way I'd wear the other two outfits to work, unless I worked in a club hehe. Nice post

it's cute if u work at a fashion magazine or something like that.. otherwise, not sure it's appropriate for traditional office environment

I love that third dress, but its a little much for work. But I think that if you pair some of these sexy pieces with other pieces from your wardrobe it could work. Its a good attempt at a Mad Men work look. lol

Maybe not...I have to agree with you: these outfits seem a little too aggressive for the office...

Thank you for the lovely comment!

Ha! Just laughed out loud picturing myself turning up to work in that lace/strapless fuscia number! Not likely to go down well but I would totally wear the other 2 outfits. Power dressing to the max!

Wow, I work in a fashion retail environment and have more lenient wardrobe situation than most, but we still need to look professional, so some of this just wouldn't fly...I will have to check the whole collection out before I say "yea" or "nea" though...

Yeah, I find those bottom two really confusing. Really confusing. I can't imagine who would wear that to work...unless you're work was being a madam.

I have been puzzled by Bebe for a while now but perhaps that is a sign I am just getting old?! Definitely could not wear most of these looks to be conservative office.

hey I think if you could get away with a style like this at work go for it. I don't think rocking up to my job in Parliament though in a fuschia dress with lace detailing would be overly appropriate :P Still, would love to give it a try just to turn a few heads as why NOT spice up your work environment a little? haha

I usually browse than buy more often at Bebe. Sometimes I think the price poinst are high considering the quality and abundance of synthetic materials.

Some of their things are questionable - but I received the catalogue this past weekend and the tweed suit looks cute as well as a silver wrap skirt. Very work appropriate, and extremely feminine. The cuts at Bebe are "sexy" where the clothes at BR or Ann Taylor are more matronly.
