I love the pleated maxi skirt trend, and have been lusting for Lanvin's Pleated Silk Maxi Skirt (above, $2,830.00). The simple skirt pairs perfectly with a chic top, bold accessories, and sky high heels. I'd get this look for less with one of these affordable -- and equally stylish -- options.

Maxi skirts are so feminine. I love to wear clothes long, so I hope that the trend continues. The swish of the fabric and the movement is so elegant that I always feel an elegance that I do not have. Besides, I love to dress up, even in the day time. I loved the 70s when I wore long skirts, always.

I love maxi skirts this season. The FP ONE looks is perfection from head to toe. It reminds me of Lisa Bonet for some reason, but I love the sheerness and the pleating.
